Summer storms roll off the Front Range in the afternoon and leave the sky rinsed and glowing. Rainbows arc across the valley, the scrub oak turns copper in October, and on a clear winter morning the snow on Pikes Peak catches the first light.
Nobody here has to go looking for beauty. It shows up on its own, from the deck, the kitchen window, the drive home.
